The problem
Incoming academic transcripts arrived into a transfer box and stopped there. Somebody had to notice, download, identify and attach each one by hand.
What I built
Transfer box to mirror to server to registrar queue, with a registry keyed on the network's own document identifier so nothing is processed twice. The invariant that drove the design: attaching a document means the applicant can see it.
Result
Transcripts move without a human watching the transfer box.
